According to reports, Hollywood A-listers Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have finalized their wedding arrangements. They tied the knot in Las Vegas.
“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” she wrote on her fan website OntheJLo.
In January 2004, the couple called off their initial engagement.
The couple boldly expressed their newfound love on social media after news of their reconciliation broke last year. Therefore, sending fans into a frenzy.
In Nevada’s Clark County Clerk’s Office, which maintains records for Las Vegas. It is noted that Lopez plans to adopt the name, Jennifer Affleck.
The movie and singing diva wrote on her website OntheJLo that the couple had traveled to Las Vegas on Saturday and had lined up with four other couples for a marriage license.
She wrote, “They were right when they said, ‘All you need is love.
“We have never had more to look forward to in life, and we are so grateful to have it in abundance, a new great family of five amazing children.”
As the celebrity got ready for the wedding, her hairstylist Chris Appleton posted a video of her wearing her wedding gown on Instagram.
The bride posted a selfie of herself in bed wearing her new wedding ring the morning after their wedding.
The couple first met while working on the film Gigli in 2002. They became engaged in 2003 but called it quits the following year, citing “excessive media attention.”
The couple’s former portmanteau nickname Bennifer 2.0, however, has been updated by fans as a result of their regular online posting of images and videos from romantic vacations and family time.
The fourth marriage for Lopez. From 2004 to 2014, she was married to musician Marc Anthony, with whom she had twins. Ben Affleck was married to actress Jennifer Garner from 2005 through 2018, and with the marriage she had three kids.
The event was the “greatest conceivable wedding we could have envisioned… one we dreamed of long ago and one made real at,” Lopez added in her post.
