NextAfto says its platform lets new-car buyers request dealer offers while keeping their phone number and email address from matched dealers until the buyer chooses to make contact.

A particular kind of dread sets in the moment someone fills out an online form to get a price on a new car. It is not dread about the vehicle. It is dread about what happens next: the flood of calls from numbers that will not stop, the salesperson who insists a price is only good “if you come in today,” the sense that the moment you asked a simple question, control of the process left your hands. NextAfto was created to give that control back.

Consumer Control Starts With the Buyer’s Terms

NextAfto describes itself as a new-car buying and leasing platform designed to give shoppers more control over the inquiry process. Buyers can submit one detailed request specifying the year, make, model, trim, color and features they want, along with information about a potential trade-in.

According to NextAfto, the request is sent to participating franchise dealers that serve the buyer’s area and carry the requested brand. Dealers have 24 hours to respond. Platform rules require an offer to include the VIN and photographs represented as showing the in-stock vehicle rather than manufacturer stock imagery. NextAfto’s terms state that it does not independently verify or warrant an offer or the vehicle’s availability.

Why Privacy Was Built In From Day One

NextAfto says its founders have backgrounds in automotive retail and technology and designed the service in response to a familiar consumer concern: providing direct contact information before receiving an offer can lead to unwanted sales calls and messages.

A buyer verifies their phone number with a one-time code. NextAfto says matched dealers receive the buyer’s name, ZIP code, vehicle and deal preferences, and any submitted trade-in details, but not the buyer’s phone number or email address. Its privacy policy permits processing or disclosure to service providers, for legal reasons, and in connection with certain business transfers. The buyer can use a passwordless link to review offers and choose whether to contact a dealer.

“We built NextAfto around a simple idea: consumers deserve an easier, more transparent way to buy or lease a new car, and dealers deserve better quality opportunities, not just more leads,” said Hakob Manoukian, Founder and CEO of NextAfto.

How Offer Locking Works

NextAfto says an offer locks within the platform once the buyer views it, preventing the dealer from editing that displayed offer. This is not a warranty of the final transaction price. NextAfto’s terms state that dealer offers are estimates and may change because of vehicle availability, taxes, fees, incentives, financing or lease terms, credit approval, trade-in inspection, and final dealer verification. Buyers should confirm all figures and conditions directly with the dealer before proceeding.

Each participating dealer may submit one offer corresponding to the buyer’s request and one optional alternate. The platform ranks offers by estimated monthly payment. Because terms, fees, incentives, amounts due at signing and credit assumptions may differ, buyers should review the full offer details rather than relying on the ranking alone.

Dealer Review and Consumer Verification

NextAfto says dealer applications are manually reviewed based on service ZIP codes and brands carried. Consumer phone-number verification confirms access to the submitted number, but it does not independently establish purchasing intent or warrant that a dealer can fulfill a request.

The service is intended to help consumers compare structured dealer offers while allowing dealers to respond to more detailed requests. Actual offer accuracy, availability, and final transaction terms remain the responsibility of the participating dealer and buyer.
