Acclaimed Vocalist Joins YOSHIKI, More Special Guests to Be Announced

Following the Jonathan Davis of Korn Announcement, Another Global Music Icon Joins YOSHIKI for a Rare Cross-Genre Concert Event

Japanese rock star, composer, and classical pianist YOSHIKI has announced that acclaimed vocalist Josh Groban will join him as a special guest on July 17 at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

The announcement follows last week’s reveal that Jonathan Davis, legendary frontman of Korn, will also appear during the two-night engagement. Together, the appearances make YOSHIKI CLASSICAL 2026 IN LOS ANGELES a genre-spanning live music event, bringing together internationally celebrated artists from the worlds of classical and metal on one stage.

Known for breaking musical boundaries throughout his career, YOSHIKI has built friendships across genres while earning worldwide acclaim as a composer, pianist, drummer, and classical artist. The appearances by Josh Groban and Jonathan Davis reflect his extensive artistic reach, which spans stadiums, concert halls, film, television, fashion, and global culture.

Last month, YOSHIKI headlined Global Citizen Live: Tokyo, the organization’s first-ever music event in Japan, closing the evening with an emotional comeback performance. He then welcomed surprise guests to the stage, turning the finale into a celebration of music, resilience, and collaboration.

The two performances take place at one of the world’s most celebrated concert venues, known for its acoustics, its Frank Gehry architecture, and its role as home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. YOSHIKI CLASSICAL 2026 IN LOS ANGELES will feature two distinct programs. Across both nights, YOSHIKI performs on grand piano and drums, backed by an orchestra.

“Scarlet Night” on July 16 and “Violet Night” on July 17 will each present unique setlists inspired by YOSHIKI’s life journey, including his return following a career-threatening third neck surgery. Each night draws on works by Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Bach, and Chopin alongside YOSHIKI’s own orchestrated compositions. The concerts mark his first full U.S. performances since his recovery.

With Josh Groban and Jonathan Davis joining the event, and more guests still to be announced, YOSHIKI will present two evenings where classical music, cinematic emotion, and rock converge on one of the world’s leading stages.
